WPF News is an independent, not-for-profit press platform founded by Michael Bosworth as part of the wider World Press Freedom initiative.

Its origins go back to 2002, when Michael’s academic work in psychology and epistemology developed into a deeper interest in truth, evidence, public knowledge, and the role of a free press in society. That interest later became the foundation for WorldPressFreedom.com, launched in 2006 as a free press advocacy platform, and later expanded into WPFNews.co.uk in 2012 as a UK-focused independent news site.

WPF News was built for readers who want facts without the noise — clear reporting, accessible commentary, and coverage that is not driven by party politics, commercial pressure, or ideological tribalism. One of its best-known features has been its legal and courtroom reporting, helping readers understand public cases and complex legal language in a way that makes important information genuinely accessible.
